We include scripts that will work instantly with your server, so there's no need to spend time configuring them. Originally, we included PHP scripts but it quickly became apparent that a lot of web hosts block PHP scripts from connecting to external servers and there was a demand for a better system. To meet the demand, we now offer Javascripts as an alternative so that you can put your server stats/info onto any website, even if it's not possible to use PHP.
